Margarita Jell-O Shots
6 oz package of Lime Jell-O
Two cups (16 oz) boiling water
6 oz tequila
2 oz triple sec
1 oz lime juice
1 oz cold water
- Empty Jell-O packet into a large bowl or container
- Add boiling water to bowl. Whisk together until fully dissolved. About 3 minutes.
- Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice and cold water. Whisk together.
- Spoon or pour into prepared cups.
- Refrigerate until set, at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
Beer Margaritas

1 (12 oz) can frozen limeade concentrate (semi-thawed)
12 oz tequila
6 oz 7UP
6 oz cold water
12 oz beer
ice (lots of ice!)
1 lime (cut into wedges)
- Pour the limeade, tequila, 7UP, water and beer into a large glass pitcher; stir with a long-handled spoon until completely blended and the frozen limeade has completely melted.
- Add in lots of ice.
- Adjust with extra water if the mixture is too sweet.
- Serve each glass with a lime wedge on the end.
Mild-Eyed Margaritas
From MADD
2 cups lemon or lime soda
2 tablespoons sugar
Juice of 1/2 lime
Salt
Crushed ice
Pour soda into ice cube tray or shallow pan, freeze.
Place frozen soda in blender, add lime juice and sugar.
Blend until well-mixed.
Rub lime around rim of glass and then dip glass into salt.
Pour mixture over crushed ice and then into salted rim glasses.
Garnish with lime slice.
Frozen Blood Orange Margarita
From Ina Garten
1/2 cup fresh blood orange juice
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 cups ice
1 cup Triple Sec
1 cup white tequila
4 frozen margarita glasses
Combine the blood orange juice, lemon juice, Triple Sec, and ice in a blender and puree until completely blended. Add the tequila and puree for 2 seconds more.- Alternatively, combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, shake hard to form ice crystals.
- Pour or strain into a prepared frozen margarita glasses or glasses filled with ice and serve.
Makes 4 drinks.
